John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Tere, I can’t believe that you are no longer coming to Miriam. I miss you so much; I miss our chat and your GSH. Tereye, "we your friends and family promise that we will look after your dearest Beabe, Negde, Emama and your family as much as we can". Madu (capital M) Romans 14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.
I wish I could give you many more years. I wish I could erase away all of your tears. I want to take away all of your pain. I want to give you sunshine in the rain. May each new day be a perfect gift. May love surround you, may your spirits lift. If someone had to describe you so many words come to mind. Beauty and grace, a heart so kind. You radiate warmth like a blazing fire. You are courage and wisdom. You truly inspire. You attract like a magnet beautiful things. You sparkle and shine like a diamond ring. You light up a room when you walk in. If someone feels sad you can make them grin. You are elegant and charming. You know right from wrong. You are the melody from a beautiful love song. You are a breath of fresh air on a hot summer's night. When there is darkness you turn on the light. I do not want these words to make you cry. I do not want to ever say goodbye. I believe miracles really do come true. No one deserves one more than you. Please know how many lives you touch. These words are my present. You are loved so much.
May God rest your Soul. You are truly an Inspiration. I felt so honoured to be at your Memorial Sevice. Thanks be to God, Our Lord and Saviour Eyesus Kristos.
Greetings, it is with sadness and joy that I learn of the passing of our dear brother. Sadness as he is no longer amongst us to pray, laugh and love with us and happy as we are confident that he has goner to that special place of rest where all the Saitns repose until that glorious time of the Resurrection. I remember our dear brother Archdiakon Terefe very well. We had wonderful times both socially and in building the Church with our fellow brothers and sisters in the faith. We were all happy building our beloved church against many challanges with our dear father Abune Yohannes guiding us spritually. They are together now and we are confident that their souls will surely rest in peace! My love and respect goes out to his family, friends and our entire Church.

"Revelation 21:4 :- And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Words seem inadequate to express my feelings on hearing of the death of Terefe. Please accept my deepest condolences, and may the God of all comfort surround you and your family with peace as you walk through this time of sorrow. My prayers are with you. Sefanit
Our brother Arch Deacon Terefe's departure has come to us as a great shock. We can not tell how deeply sorry we are. We both had a great admiration for Deacon Terefe and we hope his family will find some slight consolation in the knowledge that we all are grieving at his loss. But, above all as a Christian we have hope even if we die and believe that we will rise again on the resurrection at the last day. "Jesus said .... I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." John 11: 25-26 A D Terefe was a faithful, devoted and unchanging person who had served his Church for the last nineteen years. May God rest his soul in Peace and protect his family. We sadly lost Arch Deacon Terefe Akalu who was a true Clergy who has served his beloved Church, Reese Adbarat Debre Tsion St. Mary's E.O.C, London and its congregation with great dedication. He has set true example for honesty, truth and harmony which are typical qualities of the true servants of God. His unfailing and invaluable service have contributed in the Chiristian lives of many as well as to the glorious progress of our Church, St. Mary of Debre Tsion and he will be remembered for many years to come. Here in London we lost two special persons, Deacon Terefe Akalu & Journalist Nugssie Gamma. Everybody is sad for their untimely death which has been a source of much agony & shock to me as much as to all their family members. Death is the hardest part of life not 4those who have PASSED away but, 4those who are left behind. My thoughts are with the family and friends during this difficult time. May Your Souls Rest In Peace. Hanisha!
