I would drop everything to go watch the Golden Girls. Bea was always my favorite. Her perfectly timed humor made that show the best it could be. We all know there will never be another Bea Arthur.

I absolutely love all your shows, especially the golden girls. it's so difficult to overcome the fact that you are no more, i guess we all know that people die and we accept that, but there are some people in life that we just can't emagine to be gone, we just didnt want you to go... there are such great actors, till born today, but there will never be another Bea. and for this reason, you'll always be in our hearts....because you deserve to be. Love, Tahira

I have always loved Bea Arthur, and my only regret is that I never saw her in person. When Golden Girls was originally on evening tv, I would miss choir practice just to see her. Bea was a champ! They were all great in their own rights, but Bea could simply give a look or raise an eyebrow and I'd fall in the floor laughing. Rest in peace, Dorothy - There will never be another like you!

I absolutely love the Golden Girls and they all were Golden Girls in their own right. Their talent, charm, witt, and passion were all what made the show so great both on and off the screen. I think some of who they really were shined through on the screen. Bea Arthur was witty and charming and funny!!! I will miss them all.

With all the violence and political unrest in America right now. I thank God and my lucky stars that there are people like Bea Arthur and the cast of Golden Girls that can make you forget about life for awhile and just have a laugh. A smile and a laugh are sometimes the best gifts someone can give. Thank you Bea for making me laugh. I will always enjoy your work and I will always enjoy laughter. I'm sure heaven is a lot funnier too.

I just would like to say Bea Arthur was a brilliant actress. She was so good because she was so true. I am sure she would like us to go on. So I always watch the golden girls. I still miss season 6 and 7. The french traduction for Golden Girsl was "Les Craquantes". Bea Arthur ├ętait irresistible. People are going to laugh in Paradise !

I watched Bea Arthur in Maude and The Golden Girls. I saw they were running Golden Girls on cable and thought been there done that...didn't want to watch again. A few weeks ago I couldn't sleep and tired of all the negative news shows and TV violence, I turned on the Golden Girls and fell asleep like a baby. I now watch it all the time over and over...it brings me peace. I think the combination of these 4 women was pure genius and I doubt it can be duplicated. I think Bea was the heart of the show and I feel like I've lost a dear friend.

I am a Chicago based cabaret singer working on a show to be called "Queen Bea" honoring Ms. Arthur. Her own cabaret show "Just Between Friends" remains forever in my heart. If you have stories about Beatrice that I could share with my audience, please share them with me at CarlaCabaret@aol.com. Bea was a grand interpreter of song, a grand wit, and a grand human. God'll get ya for that, Beatrice.

Each time I watch Golden Girls I find it hard to believe that Bea is gone from us. She was the queen of comedy and I enjoy each and every episode no matter how many times I've seen it before. Heaven is richer since she arrived. Of that, I have no doubt. Rest in peace Bea. You are sorely missed.

I first started watching The Golden Girls in 1985 after I visited an older friend of mine in Florida. The show reminded me so much of those trips. Dorothy was my favorite character. I particularly liked her relationship with Sophia. How they make me laugh. Thanks Dorothy, Sophia, Rose, and Blanche for all those laughs. And God bless Bea and Estelle as they make merry in the heavens.

What was your favorite eppsode of he golden girls, remember bea with laugher, My favorite two scenes was when blanche - rue's daughter has her baby and bea- dorothy is there to help, really brought out her loving sensitive side. and the other was the final eppisode where she marries and leaves touching, funny and sad at the same time.. I first watched Bea as "Maude" and really admired her (although it angered my then husband as he thought her "bossy and masculine" and an example of "what is wrong with women"). I ignored him as he deserved to be and enjoyed "Maude" very much. Then came the "Golden Girls" which I still find witty and refreshing even though it's all reruns. Those 4 ladies (and I use that word expressly) were marvelous together! May Bea and Estelle rest in peace.

I was raised by my Grandma in the 80's. Often times we would find it hard to connect due to the geerational differences but we could always sit and laugh as we watched Golden Girls together. My grandma died 4 years back so last year when I found the DVD's I bought them. Now I watch on episode everynight before bed and it feels like home. My daughter who also gre up with my grandma in the house came in one night to my room and cried. She said that Dorthy reminded her of grandma Nita. I laughed and told her she sure does sound like her! So now my daughter and I watch them together! Thanks Bea (and all the Golden Girls) for creating such a special piece of work that bridges generation gaps. I hope you rest in piece and your loved ones are blessed. -Nita's Grandaughter

I loved Bea Arthur as Dorothy in the Golden Girls, she was my favorite! I used to watch it growing up in the 80s, and in recent years bought the DVD sets off of Amazon. I was crushed to hear of her demise, the world has lost the greatest funniest actress who ever lived. Rest in peace Bea. I am your biggest fan from Malaysia and will always love you and what you meant to me - an inspiration and greatest source of laughter.

Bea was one in a million. Three (3) generations of my family tuned in to watch the Girls over the years. I loved your wit with Stanley; and yes you could say more with a facial expression than words it self. I continue to watch the reruns as they bring my mood from downcast to upbeat. What a star you are. Now an angel that I will never forget. Bea will be missed always. Hug Sophia for me too...
