You lost Your Life for The Betterment Of Your People And All Region, You Did Your Best To Bring Peace And Prosperity To Your People This Why You Twice Been Elected is A Prime Minister...Youngest Prime Minister Of The World First Lady Prime Minister Of Muslim World, We all Proud Of You...May Allah Bless You With Heavens.

Dear friends, I am writing to share my extremely grieved feelings on the martyrdom of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Ms. Bhutto was undoubtedly the leader of the largest popular political party in Pakistan. Having elected twice as the premier, she hold the credit of being the youngest Prime Minister and the first ever women head of government in Islamic world. Not only in Pakistan, she is thought as a dynamic leader, an intellectual and an unparallel radical political figure in the international community. In the recent survey (published three days before her martyrdom), she was rated as the second most powerful women of world, the first one being Ms. Hillary Clinton. Graduated from Oxford and Harvard, she is a writer of couple of books, several political articles and poetry as well. She is also respected for being the most expensive and highly demanded lecturer from South Asia on subjects including Politics, International Relations, Foreign Policy and Development. Before her arrival to Pakistan, in October this year, she said in Dubai, “Life & death are in God’s hand and I am not scared of being killed. I will not compromise on principles laid by Shaheed Bhutto". She also said, "No true muslim could attack a woman!” Alas, she was wrong in judging the ‘enlightened’ religious extremist level in Pakistan. A mother of three children and the only active political representative of Bhutto family, Mohtarma has left a huge gap that does not seem to fill in near future. This is an extremely sad day, a day which will always be remembered not as martyrdom of a leader but as a reassurance from the top leadership and perhaps most sacrificing political family of Pakistan (Bhuttos), to stand once again against all odds in order to struggle continuously for a liberal democratic Pakistan!! I hope Pakistan gets out of this extremely shocking , vulnerable and threatening situation quickly and the pattern of further demanding blood from awami leaders is changed. The Bhuttos have given another coffin to reensure their commitment with the poor of this country! May her soul rest in eternal peace and may her spouse and children get special blessing from the Al Mighty to seek patience in this hardest moment of their lives. May her dream of seeing a modern, liberal and progressive Pakistan comes true and is seeing by our generation. Ending with an Urdu verse.. - jis dhaj se koi maqtal me gaya who shaan salamat rehni he - is jan ki to koi baat nai, ye jan to ani jani he Pakistan Paindabad.. Regards, M Gouhar Iftikhar London, UK

This is a great loss for the future of Pakistan. I truly hope that the Pakistanis are able to drive successfully into democracy. I will not forget that this woman seemed to have every intention to bring Pakistan into a successful democracy. Madrid, Spain

Life takes many routes and brings forth either happiness & sadness...sometimes we are vain to acknowledge the help and support many have to offer us... (Benazir)... It’s hard to believe one can be so cruel to take a life... of such a responsible and brave woman... (Benazir)... Those who did this shall repay in full price... on judgment day...many people seem to forget that Allah has his ways with those who play with innocence... Let the soul of (Benazir) rest in peace...let her rest... She has given the ultimate price (her life) for the sake of her Country.

The world lost an excellent and courageous leader today. Being brave is one thing, being a brave "woman" is definitely something that people of the world don't get a chance to see everyday. How many brave women we saw during this century? Many women made their names. Some became leaders, some made their names in the fashion industry, some became glamorous models, some became pilots but how many of them can be remembered as "brave" women. Benazir Bhutto is no more but she will always be remembered for her bravery, courage and sacrifice. She knew her fate but she did not hesitate to return to her country. She was rich, she was a well known leader. She could have spent all her life in castles but no, she came back. She faught like a fierce tigeress. Even today, some people are writing against her. I can see some comments posted here against her. Someone posted a comment that she interfered in Afghanistan. I ask one question. Was she responsible for everything that happened to that country during the century. Was she the one who brought Russia in their country? Was she the one who should be blamed for the turmoil in their country? Did she create gulbadeen hikmet yar, mulla rocketi, and scores of other fighters? Ha... how easy it is to criticize and point fingers at others. The people who can not do anything just sit and criticize others. May her soul rest in peace and may God save this world from people full of hatred and may there be peace on this planet. Respect

The world suffers a great lost today on the death of the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. Her quest and battle for democracy and the fight for the rights of her people will not go away. May her children, husband, family and the country stand with courage and continue her battle. May God be with every man, woman and child on this day the world over in the days to come.

She spoke at a school not far from where I live. I saw the announcement in the newspaper..."former prime minister of Pakistan to speak..." and decided to go. She was very intelligent and had a quiet dignity and intense seriousness. She spoke of her longing to return to Pakistan and her intense desire for freedom and democracy for the people and country she loved. I was so happy for her that she got to return and had much hope things would go well for her and Pakistan. I mourn her murder and I still pray for the peace and well being of Pakistan.

May she rest in peace. Her presence will be missed throughout the world. It's a sad day when she could not get out to rally with the people who loved her and she was not allowed the opportunity to stand for the upcoming election. How democratic is that? What has this world come to and where are those animals values?

i thank GOD for giving, Benazir Bhutto, to the world. Benazir Bhutto is an evidence of how much the Pakistani people love GOD. Benazir Bhutto is evidence that Muslims do not hate women. Her murder must be GOD’S way of exposing the greed and cowardice of people who have the audacity to think that they have the right to run GOD’S world.

Answer to Tom Cukennnys question. Because she stood for the poor the millions/billions of dollars/pounds of *aid* that Pakistan is getting from the west to "fight terrorisim", which is actually lining the pockets of the military was going to come to an end when she would have been elected in Jan elections. The corrupt government of pakistan and the military are behind it. Please dont be fooled and believe what the media are saying that the extermists killed her, as, if it was them they should have killed Mushraf and his men who are the ones killing the taliban not BB. I hope the army of Pakistan pays for killing our 2 great leaders. The west should be ashamed of supporting this regime of dictators.

Benazir Bhutto literally loved her country to death. She valued freedom and wanted her people to live full lives free from fear and oppression. My sympathy to her family and her countrymen & women. I pray her death spurs her supporters to stand up in her stead and banish terrorism in their midst. Peace to you, gentle lady.

In Memory Of ..." Benazir Bhutto "... My life now gives no ray of light , I bring no solace to heart or eye , Out of dust to dust again , of no use to anyone am I . Pakistan was was once a paradise , Where love held sway and reighned , But its charm lies ravished now , And only ruins remain . The heart distressed , the wounded flesh , the mind ablaze, the rising sigh . The drop of blood , the broken heart , Tears on the lashes of the eye , But things cannot remain , O Pakistan , Thus for who can tell ? , Through God's great mercy and the Prophet , All things may yet be well , ......God's Speed .

She was an inspirational leader and a great politician. Her courage and strength was exemplary. I hope her legacy will be one of fighting for restoration of civil law and genuine democracy. She was not perfect but she was the first to admit her mistakes and that added to her credibility as a genuine person.May she rest in peace.
