I am still baffled by the sudden lost of the Great Bernie Mac. On the contrary, God has promised none of us tomorrow just them moment. Needless, to say Bernie lived his life to the fullest. He loved his family, his friends, and his career. In the black community we are strong believers in our extended families, because many of us live in single parent or being raised by another relative... Bernie was the Uncle that raised us all on TV, and through his comedy because it was real life for a great deal of us.... I want to thank God for giving us the opportunity to share him for the time that was alloted to us. He will be greatly miss by all. To his family please do not fret, he left you with a host of loving memories, love & laughter. He will always be with you in spirit, and you will see him again in heaven...

When I had cancer 4 years ago, and 2 weeks later hurricane Ivan destroyed my home, I would listen to Bernie when I would get down, and he would make me laugh. And before I knew it I was in a better mood. I will miss him so much. Laughter can make your sorrows go away. God be with his family. There will never be another like him. Thank you God for your gift of him to us-selfishly we wish we could have had him longer, but he is definately in a better place!

My memory of Bernie Mac is all his Movies, He was a great actor and comedian. He made me laugh when I was truly down. I truly send my condolences to his wife and family. Bernie Mac was good at what he did,which was making people laugh.I was very sad when i heard the news.He was really a icon.My heart and prayers go out to his family,We have really lost an amazing person.May he rest in peace.

My fundest memory of Bernie Mac was the first time I saw him in concert live. I laughed and laughed and laughed until I almost cried thinking this man is crazy!!!!!!!!! Then I got to see the kings of comedy and they had all 4 of my favorite comedians. I enjoyed every moment of the show especially Bernie!!!!!!! To his family I say stay encouraged. He is no longer in pain and doesn't have to suffer anymore. There is nothing to hard for God. It is hard now and will get harder, but it will get better in time. Heaven got something good when it got Bernie Mac and he will be missed dearly on earth. To have someone so funny leave a good mark behind his name is awesome. God"s choice was a great choice, he got Bernie Mac!!!!!!!!!!

The memories that I have are from Def Comedy Jams........ that was when my father let me watch the show for the first time and he came on stage and blew the crowd. "You dont understand", " I aint scared of you m*****f*****s. and that was so funny to me and it stuck with me til this day my father and I quote him all the time... I will really miss him and i know he still doing his thing up there...

It is important to live your life so that when your eyes close you have left an impact. I did not know Bernie Mac personally and I will not profess to have know him, but what I can say is he left his mark. His comedy was uplifting not only to African American but to other ethnic groups. He had power and was not ashame to display it. May the spirits provide the family with the strength to continue through with their life in addition to providing them with the memory of Bernie to let his spirit live through them.
