Brad was a very kind and loving person. He would make sure to cll me on hilidays and stop by everyone in a while to say hello. he confided in me and trusted in me and still till this day he can do that! im gonna miss him sooo much! r.i.p. brad!

He was a regular at my restaurant years ago - he was nothing but kind and always respectful. this is a tragedy and my thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
i wish i had a chance to have known him as a person my prayers go out to his family and loved ones who had that privlege to know the real brad im sorry for your loss. as an actor i will miss seeing him around in movies he was one of my fav. he seamed like a great guy real down to earth. as an actor i'd like to thank him for his hard work and sharing his talent with the world i feel very lucky to have gottin to see him on the big screen. he died much too young may god keep him and help his family and loved ones during this time ill keep you all in my prayers rest in peace brad and thank you .... sincerly carebearswithcare
So shocked to hear the news, i cried. If only he could have pulled through his addiction and lived to continue being the amazing actor that he was and would have been. So sad...

I will always remember his powerful performance in BULLY. he was so convincing and in DEUCES WILD he was just the same. Thank you Brad Renfro for your great work in such a short time, and if you were never at peace here, you will be on the other side.
I was so shocked to here the news this morning , I loved him in sleepers, when I was 17 I had such a crush on him (rented every film he was in) my heart goes out to his friends and family.

My favorite young actor for years! He was great in all his film roles from "The Client" to "Bully," etc. Such a tragedy and I hope drugs and alcohol weren't involved.
I thought Brad was an incredible talented actor & I'm shocked to hear he's dead. I hope it wasn't a drug overdose, I really wanted him to beat his drug problem!
Brad Renfro was a very fine actor but unfortunately he died to early. I wish there would have been somebody strong to convince him that drugs are the wrong road. A shame we want see him anymore to develop as an actor. To all people who have been close to him I feel for your loss. May his films have a lasting memory on us so he will be not forgotten! This is how i will remember him, i was pretty certain i was going to marry him when i was about 12 =)
I saw Brad Renfro in a few films and thought he was a great actor who just needed time to perfect his craft and reach adult roles. I thought he was great in Bully and a a film about a 1960's disc jockey who was dishonest but can't remember the name. I just read about his death which makes me feel sad just like I did when River Phonex died out The Viper Room in LA a club owned by Johnny Dep. Brad Renfro had a lot of promise as an actor but I think the pressure of Hollyweird and the drug scene that goes with it can bring many young actors down the road of drug addiction. Still some young actors are not strong enough to cope with the pressures of Hollywood and the ups and downs that go with stardom. It takes a thick skin and displine to with stand all that show bussiness can throw at young child stars when they have graduate to adult roles. Hollywood can chew you up and spit you out if you can't land on your feet and keep grounded. I hope new young actors can learn from this tradgic and sad death of kid who died needlessly. actors are not
