Connor was an awesome second cousin. He always played with us. He always thought of us. Whenever we played football with him and Mikey, it was extra fun. Instead of down, set, hut, he would say, "Elephant 42, Giraffe 12, hut!" He loved to clobber us and try to eat us like a sandwhich. At football, he always wanted to win and he always did. We always tried to tackle him, but he was too strong. He made us feel special. We love Connor. We will miss him every day. Love, Ally, Charlie and Laney Smith and Anna, Jeb and Beau Brown

I loved those Blue Sunglasses. He was so mad that he lost the original orange pair from Dewey the year before. He totally knew that those glasses didn't deflect the sun, but he ALSO knew that they looked rediculous...and that's why he loved them.

Connor, aka 'Catcher' was a great person, with an infectious smile and that hearty laugh that could fill any room. I was devastated as I am sure most were to hear the news of Connor's passing. What hit me the hardest was that just a week Monday I ran into Connor taking some swings at the Chelsea Piers batting cages. It had been close to 3 years since I had last seen Connor, and it was like time had never passed. It was like fate giving me a chance to squeeze in that last goodbye. It was a fantastic catch up session, with even a little good natured rubbing on my end questioning Connor's intentions in that batting cage. I busted on him telling him not to even think of a comeback, but in my heart of hearts I wished it to be nothing more than the truth. I had the pleasure of playing baseball with Connor for 3-4 years as he was an original member of the Long Island Drive (www.lidrive.com), a men's amateur baseball team put together by my best friend and I in 2003. A teammate that could be counted on for everything except a clean uniform, Connor poured his heart and soul into the game just as much I am sure as he did into anything and everything in his life. He made an impact that I can't put into words on so many members of our squad, that it is troublesome to have to pass on this sad news to all that knew him. A great teammate, a great friend, and best of all a great person, Connor will surely be missed. My Condolences go out to his family, friends, and to anyone that Connor had a chance to impact in his time with us. RIP 'Catcher"

I met Connor for the first time, literally, in Reykjavik, Iceland this past winter while on a trip with his brother Mike and a few good friends. Up to that point, Connor had just been a rumor to us that Mike used to boast about. After meeting him I can say with absolute certainty that no person has made such a lasting impression on me within such a short time as Connor. From the moment we met him there was no question that Connor was an extraordinary guy and Mike had every reason to be as proud of him as he was. His incredible generousity, friendliness, and above all, uncommon geniality has created a memory of the fun times we shared on that short trip that I will never forget. Not to mention that Connor had the freakish ability to take on and conquer the most intimidating social challenges without batting an eye, the genuine nature of how he talked with you made it impossible not to respect him and, although you've known him for less than five minutes, consider him your friend. Looking back, despite the short trip, I feel blessed that I was able to spend that time with Connor - he was the type of remarkable person that most people never get to meet. My heart and prayers go out to Mike and the rest of the O'Gorman family. Thank you for allowing me the chance to meet Connor, and I pray that your hearts are able to find peace.

I remember meeting Connor when he was Dennis' roommate at Princeton (Dennis is now my son-in-law). We were invited to visit their quad -- and I remember thinking that they had cleaned it up nicely, but I suspected some serious mischief went on there when the old folks weren't around. It was clear that their friendship was the kind that would last a lifetime. First impressions of Connor? Handsome, winsome, really smart and genuinely kind with a dollop of devilment to add spice. We had the opportunity to get to know Connor better when he was cut from his AAA baseball team in Indiana. The O'Gormans were living overseas and he needed a place to regroup before heading back to his "fallback" position - a job at Morgan Stanley in NYC. Since we lived in Ohio, we were more than happy to have Connor come visit for as long as he needed - which turned out to be about 10 days. I remember this interlude as being a wonderful time -- Connor was a great storyteller and a great listener. He helped out with the cooking and cleanup, acquired an even better tan by the pool, wiped up the golf course with me, and was just a total delight. When it was time to move on, we told him it was official -- he was adopted any time he needed to be! We had many opportunities to share meals and hugs and it only made us love him more. I will so miss that loopy grin and I mourn the loss of a great, young friend who was so very dear to Schuyler, Dennis and all their crew.

While I have lost touch over the years, I remember Connor as the kind spirit who always had a quick smile around school, the baseball field, and the Singapore community. My heart goes out to all of the O'Gormans and I am sorry I cannot be there in person. My love to you all, Stevie Johnson

Connor returns to Shaker Heights for 4th of July, along with Schuyler, Dennis, Duncan, Sully and Fergie. It was a glorious weekend and we old folks officiated at several swim competitions. It was amazing that there was any water left in the pool.

I've shared so many great memories with Connor over the last 11 years that we've known each other. My most recent was 2 weeks ago when I was visiting NYC for business. Connor offered that i stay with him while i was in town even though we had just went to phoenix the week earlier for a little Golf weekend with our friends. The first day i arrived we had planned to eat dinner with my parents in the city. He had to play tennis with a friend beforehand and didn't end up making it, but waited in the lobby of his apartment to make sure he could see my parents. He had grown to know them so well over the years and wanted to give them a big hug and a taste of that infectious high pitched laugh that everyone loved to hear. Even though he had just played tennis, he suggested we run to Chelsea Piers to hit some golf balls and test out the new set of Titleist blades he had just bought. I thought to myself that this was probably just an average Tuesday night for Connor, always up for maximizing each day and having as much fun as possible when his friends were around. We laughed, talked a lot of smack about who could hit the most accurate shots with the same set of clubs and eventually ended up closing the place down. We stopped to pick up some groceries on our way back and he gave me a hard time for wanting some gummy worms with his recent health kick. We laughed as always and headed back to his place to watch some sports before calling it a night. Connor wolfed down an Apple, almost a full Jar of Skippy Peanut Butter (his favorite), and tall glass of Milk..probably the most popular "meal" i've seen him eat over the years. I feel very fortunate to have had the recent opportunity to spend some quality time with my good friend Connor. He will surely be missed and life will never be the same without him. That night was just another example of how time with Connor on an ordinary Tuesday night could be so memorable.

greatest speech ever...connor had a real talent for speaking from the heart and making his friends feel special. He held the room in the palm of his hands, I'll never forget that day...real tough act to follow.

it was so hot and humid that day...i gave connor so much grief for owning a tux that was 5 sizes too big, but he was the smarter man that day with all that room to breath in his jacket. He'd say he planned it that way, but i knew it was just a coincidence. :)
