Sheila, Colin, Barry and Karen, We were shocked and greatly saddened to hear the news about Uncle Derek. Uncle Derek was particularly special to us as whenever we saw him, he had time to listen to us and took great interest in our family. His humour, warmth and sincerity really touched us both, and although many years passed between our meetings, each and every time we did meet, we would have deep meaningful conversations that left us feeling positively enriched. Uncle Derek and Auntie Sheila's time in the UK last year was very special for all of us. Our time together was so short but deeply fulfilling and personal; we are so pleased that we were able to have this special time.
