Col Ramsey provided me with great support in the year that I boarded at Scots - my first year away from home. I felt an additional connection in that my father (also a Colonel Don) knew him well through a shared military background and I always felt he was there to help. Stephen

Col Swinbourne, who was transport srrgeant in 2 RAR with Don Ramsey in Malaya, gave great support to my youngest son at the Canberra Grammar School.in the role of School Sargeant

What a wonderful inspiration Donald has been to all especially many people he had personal contact with over his long life. He will be sadly missed and never be forgotten for his kindness and consideration.
