I was so devastated to hear of my dear friends passing. We brought each other through medical school and how painful it was to return home to find you four years gone. I will always love you Marion....rest in peace sweet girl and soon we will all be together again. John

We only met briefly nearly a year ago, Ethan and Max. Your mom and I worked together briefly in Bridgewater, but last year we reconnected for a professional supervision role. Your mom has touched so many people through the years. Your mom, provided comfort to many over the years and her ability to encourage and support others, through their own difficult times was given selflessly, a true gift. Your mom will be missed by many. May the embrace of love and peace be with you both. Peace, Bernadette

Your Mom was a remarkable woman with many talents. I knew her as the kind, caring and wonderful doctor. She helped many people go from the depths of despair, to leading full lives. She took time to listen to all, no matter how busy she was. She loves you both so much, and talked of you often. I did get to meet you both a few times at the hospital where I work, when she was covering on the weekend. You guys kept me company while I worked. Know now that your Mom is watching over you from heaven. Cynthia Whalen

Dear Ethan, In this extremely difficult time, you are in my thoughts. Your mom was one amazing lady. I always had parents write letters to me about their children, and I hold onto each and every letter. I dug through my files and found the letter that your mom wrote about you in the 2nd grade. I want to share some of her words with you: "I know that I am Ethan's number one fan and biased as can be. However I can truthfully say that Ethan is my pride and joy and is my true gift in life...I can say that Ethan has always been a wonderful child...His budding love of the game (baseball) and his developing skills are astounding to watch. He has real passion and in fact what is most noticeable about Ethan is his huge heart. He feels things passionately, tends to be rather dramatic and would make a good actor or politician I think...He seems quite confident about himself and he should be! He is a wonderful little boy...He is very happy, loves to have fun, loves to be with family and friends and loves to make others laugh. He will always be my special boy." Your mom loved you and your brother more than anything in the world! I agree with her that you are a wonderful little boy. I know she will always be smiling down on you as she watches you continue to grow and learn. When you were in my classroom, I could always count on you for a hug or a smile to turn my day around. Now, I want you to know that you can always count on me for a hug or a smile to help you get through the days.

I have far too many memories to fit them all here - We first met in 1975 at a music festival in Aspen, CO. We immediately fell in love and we survived our Juilliard experiences as a team. We were married in 1979, at a church in Tonawanda, NY, not far from her parents' home. My world revolved around her for about 7 years, and she took an important piece of my heart when she left. It was always a comfort to know that she had found a happy existence, with children. My heart goes out to those two boys. Eric Bartlett

From the moment I met Marion, I was impressed with her dedication to her boys, Ethan and Max, you could see how they brought such joy to her life and her heart. Myself and my family only had the pleasure of her company at holidays and family reniouns, and during those times I could feel and see what a warm person she was and how she lit up the room and all the faces of those who adored her, especially her boys and my cousin Jimmy. Jimmy our deepest condolences to you for the lost of your loved one, Ethan and Max your mother will forever be watching and loving you and guiding you. Also our deepest condolences to all her family and friends. Marion you will forever be in our hearts and memories and forever be missed. Renay, Bob, Courtney and Deanna
