I remember all the times that my Dad would play catch with me in our backyard-he's the reason that I wanted to start playing baseball-he always supported me and encouraged me to do my best. I will always try to do the best I can at whatever I do-I remember his wise words, "Be Yourself" I love you for eternity Dad. Our love will never end. See you in heaven in about 90 years
You were my "Dream of a Lifetime"..................me eternal love follows you. You were the most courageous man I have ever known. May God hold you and lovingly care for you, as I did in life. Your loving wife, lover, friend, Debra
dry your eyes and remember me,not as I am now, but as I used to be. you will be missed love marianne
I was so sad to hear of Emil's passing. I worked with Emil at Youth Services from Sept. 2001 until Sept. 2006. He was someone who cared about people. Always upbeat and ready for conversation, especially about the Mets! I don't think I've ever had a supervisor more caring and understanding. Taken from his family and friends far to soon, may he rest in peace. I will never forget him.

My memories of my cousin Emil are from our childhoods.. He and his brother and my brother Pete spent many summers running around their backyard in Bergenfield or ours in River Vale playing cowboys and Indians or other such games which always involved some kind of "good" guys against the "bad" guys. Since they needed a fourth player to even out the teams I was allowed to play and was tolerated for the most part, even though I was younger, and a GIRL ! I remember that Emil was always great about letting me be on his side and we usually wound up being the "bad guys" in whatever game was created. I didn't care-- they were older and I just thought they were so cool and I wanted to be just like them! Childhood was alot about imagination, fun, and having cousins to play with and Emil was a part of those memories for me. Thanks, cousin and rest in peace.
I didnt know him at all, but at least we all know he doesnt have to fight nomore he's at peace with the angels and GOD is taking very good care of him. He and your familywill all be in my prayers. GOD BLESS.
My cousin Emil, along with his brother Rich, was very much a part my life as a child, especially at the holidays and other family occasions. Although we had not had a lot of contact during much of our adult lives lives, it was great to have been able to become re-acquainted in the last couple of years. My deepest sympathy to Debra, Benjamin, Theresa, Jennifer , Richard and all of the rest of the extended family as you mourn his passing. May all the good memories of how Emil enriched your lives give you comfort now. You are all in my thoughts now and in the future.
I didnt know him but i just wanted to show some respect for my good friend amanda...MAY GOD BLESS HIM AND MAY HIS HEART AND SOUL RIP!
My mom and Emil's Dad were brother and sister but before my parents got married our father's were best friends. Emil was more than a cousin. He was a cherished boyhood friend. I will hold him and our shared memories in my heart. .. Pete Mahler
