My fondest memory of Grandma Weir was when she made a long trip from Mentone to Warracknabeal, in her little morris car, to greet her first Grandson, Gregory, who was born on 24th August 1965. She was very excited and nothing was going to stop her from making that long lonely trip on her own. Her help was very much appreciated, as a first time Mother.
