My mum called me today to tell me about the death of heath. She called me specifically because she knew how much i had always loved him as an actor. As i am only 24 he was my heart throb as i was growing up, and it is just so sad that such a fine young man, and wonderful actor with so much potential could die so young. The world has lost a marveolous actor, and australia has lost a magnificant son. RIP heath ledger.

I think I'm still in shock at the devastating news that Heath has left this world. As a fellow Aussie I don't know anyone that didn't like him and who hasn't been affected by the tragic news that Heath has died at 28 years old, a father of a gorgeous little girl in the prime of his career. He was a brilliant actor dedicated to the authenticity & creativity of his acting work. He hated the whole celebrity thing and I remember feeling extremely sorry for the way he was treated by Australian press awhile back. I can't imagine the devastation his ex-partner Michelle, his family,his friends & his darling 2 year old daughter Matilda is feeling!
