i remember trying to take my little sister to see him when Ned Kelly opened, didnt get to see him though, he'd already left! didnt change how much we loved him as an actor though, Brokeback was his outstanding performance. my sympathy to his family, and adorable little girl.

I remember being a little girl obsessed with those good looks and growing into a woman who could then appreciate his roles and respect him as a good actor. He was too young and will be missed.

I have wondful memories of Heath from his early movies to the latest. I am stunned and saddened by his tragic death. I am even more stunned by the media and the horrible way they are "reporting" any rumor as "fact". The poor guy can't defend himself. I believe he was the epitomy of everything good in Hollywood. He chose to guide his craft rather than let it guide him. The world has lost a great soul and a great actor. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

His performance in "Candy" altered my life. Thank you Heath. You were a lovely person with the soul of a great artist. You will be remembered...

being a film fanatic.. i have found him to be one of the greats and yet before he could truly prove it something so horrible as this has happened. He really did make an impression on my life and no doubt anyones who has seen his films.. My heart goes out to his poor family and this just proves how drugs can ruin anyones life. such a waste.

Heath had a boyish charm about him. Seeing him in any movie made me very happy. He seemed like an old friend of mine. I always wanted to meet him, just to chat. He seemed like a very nice guy, and I feel terrible that it was all a facade, that he was really hurting. I am really sorry for the pain you felt, buddy, and I hope it is all buy a distant memory. I hope you are at peace.

I watch 10 Things I Hate About You and have hope for love based just on his performance. Any movie he's in warms my heart. He was my first on screen crush and my image of the perfect man. My heart goes out to all of his family and his little girl. The world has lost yet another wonderful person. May he rest in piece.

I didn't know him personally but he still touched my life. As i'm sure threw his work he touched many lives. I think that my favorite shots of him were with his little girl you could tell that she ment everything to him. I pray for him and his family right now in there time of need. He was far to young to be gone so soon.

My memory: Well, let's just say, Heath was a great bloke with a hot smile and I loved his hair long. Heath was a beautiful soul, an Aries, born on the 4th of April. In his movie, 10 Things I Hate About You, he was Patrick Verona and Mrs Pecky called him "Kangaroo Boy". I loved that part! Joseph Gordan-Levitt looked so much like him. I loved him so much. I've only seen 10 Things I Hate About You with Heath in it. I love you mate, keep on shining.

Although I never personally knew Heath Ledger I could tell by his love for his family and friends and his passion for acting that he was an unforgetable man. He is without doubt my favorite actor. He always brought a smile to face, and I never got a chance to meet him. I hold his family close to my heart at this tragic time. Stay strong. I've never gotten a chance to meet him...and now sitting here I wished I had made an effort to I certainly live in a place where they have movie openings all the time but ..Oh well. Heath was the greatest actor ever known in my generation not only was he easy on the eyes but all his role had a certain depth to them and when given a character he took it, molded it and shaped himself to become that character ...I even pegged him as the next Sean Penn, Clint Eastwood or even Anthony Hopkins thats how good he was in my eyes at least....I cant believe that such a beautiful life was cut soo short he wasn't someone you would see gracing the covers of tabloids every week, he wasn't the kind of person whom you see getting arrested every minute or doing something stupid...he was just a sweet caring soul who loves his work and his daughter Matilda.....I wonder why he was taken so soon when he did nothing wrong and Celebrities like Amy fucking Winehouse is still alive wasting her fucking life away drinking smoking and doing drugs......He didn't deserve it. They say it may be drug related since they found sleeping pills near to where he died ...even if he did take those pills I really don't think he intentionally committed suicide....It may have been an overdose or something else but whatever the case..... There will never be another like him he's our one and only ....RIP Heath I promise that I'll stop crying now and laugh and celebrate your life and all the good you've done in your 28 years here on earth thats what i'm feeling right now I'm angry that his life was cut so short at a time when he was on a roll.Now I'll never get a chance to meet this great guy who's touched our heart on such a deep and profound level ...I wonder what he's doing right now in Heaven ...Maybe he's charming all the Ladies or maybe giving the little kids piggyback rides..I really don't know

Wow. What a complete shock. Its sad to see such a talented actor leave us so soon. He still had a long and successful career ahead of him. He will be greatly missed by all. All of his great works will never be forgotten. I guess God wanted to have him up with Him, to admire one of his great creations.
