I shall miss you Ian. Breathe easy my friend
So many memories going all the way back to when we were teenagers living in East Lindfield. Dancing classes at Killara; beach parties at Whale Beach one year when my mother had rented a holiday house; you and your father giving me a lift to the city when you saw me waiting for the 207 bus; seeing you and Julie with the children at Whale. When Chris and I moved to Adelaide, you would visit us for a taste of Australia - roast lamb and Mum's recipe of lemon delicious. And that wretched huntsman spider crawling down the windscreen (outside, thank goodness) just as we were driving down the winding hillside road. You couldn't get your shoe off to kill it because you were wearing lace ups, not slip ons! More recently, our lovely lunches with you and Linda and Patsy and Allan, and our stay at Killcare - just all being together and chatting and laughing as long time friends do. For your friendship and laughter over the years, thank you. From all my family - Chris, Rob & Seong Hwa, your god daughter Gin and me - the warmth of your memory will always be with us.
