Rest In Peace Ishmeet SIngh. when i first read the news i thought it was a joke. its very shocking. wahguru ji ohdi atma nu shanti deve. he was very simple...waheguru ji ohde mom & dad nu hausla deve. but jadon jawan putt chad k chala janda hai tan hausla nahi anda. He was like Michael Jackson but pure Punjabi. He was a young star and deserved a long prospectus life. Sadly cut short with his sudden death. My thoughts are with his family and may God bless his soul.

I am completely shocked to hear this horrible news. I belong to the same street where Ishmeet 's family lives, in Shastri Nagar, in Ludhiana. I know his family very well. The last time I went to India, he was a little kid. I felt so proud to see him doing so well on Sa Re Ga....on TV. No words can describe this loss. I guess God takes all the great souls to him sooner than expected. May God give his family strength and courage to cope with this terrible loss.

I cant believe the new. im a sdo upset because i watched him every week and when he won. he was such a talented singher and will be sorly missed. his voice was gorgerous and so was he it so said and my he rest in peace. my thought are with his family and friends.

This is really very shocking and strange that a singer goes to a resort to take part in an event and drowns in swimming pool !! where were the life gaurds? other collegues?other participants? event managers? is this some kind of joke a boy is drowing in a swimming pool and their is no one to help him? who should be held responsible for ishmeets death? who? its the event manager. he was supposed to take care of every individual while organising any event. its all because of him we have lost such a talented star, such a sweet human being and an up coming superstar !! I watched the VOI series and watched Ishmeet progress further and further in the competition, we all knew from the start he would win...... .....when you get to know and familiarise yourself with such talent you can not help but feel saddened by his sudden death...........a complete shock, i feel great sympathy for his family, may god give them all the strength to get through this terrible ordeal. I saw Ishmeet for first time on the show Jo Jita Wohi superstar on star plus. As I live in USA I did not have this channel before. I was so shocked to read about him on the web that I could not believe it. He was a good singer and a very young boy to pass away, Our deepest condolences to his parents and family. I really feel bad for his parents. Life is not fare. May God rest his soul in peace.

It was my favourite song sung by Ishmeet. I actually recorded it and watched it every day. It always brought tears to my eyes, more so now. My heart goes out to Ishmeet's mum. After a week, I am still in shock and disbelief about his death. Cannot imagine what his parents are going through. May God give them strength during this very difficult time. Ishmeet, we miss you.

This is a very shocking News for all of us that Ishmeet is no more with us. He was a Great singer. This is not only a loss to his family this a big loss to all indian community and music industry. may god rest his soul in peace and give the strength to his family to go through this unbearable time.

I keep checking the headlines for a different story, where he survives! Ishmeet achieved alot in his young age and have given alot to his family/friends and fans. I can only try to imagine what his family must be going through....when his parents came to the set of SVOI when Ishmeet sang the song Maa Diya Pakiya Rotiya Khaan nu Barhai Dil Karda......what more can i say...... i just dont know what to say.......all i can say is that you were someone special and god couldnt bare to be away from you.....miss you singh!
