I'm sorry to just now hear the news. My wife and I just finished watching Roadhouse and I was trying to sing "Angle Eyes" to her so she would remember who you were. RIP brother, we will miss you. P.S. Thanks for the high school memories.

He made me appreciate the "Blues". Best wishes to his family.

Thank you Jeff for making my 15 year old sons dream come true. His jamming with you in Greenwood Miss. will always be the highpoint of our lives. You are and will always be missed.

My memory was taking my then young son to see jeff at the Manchester Apollo. It was an awe inspiring performance which toucheed us both even now. All i can think right now is god wanted to rock and wanted the best guitarist. I don't know about Macon Georgia Blue i am myself right now. goodnight jeff.

I remember being awe-struck at the talent this blind man had on guitar when I first heard "See The Light". He has inspired and influenced my playing since I was a teenager. God rest your soul Jeff, I wish I could've met you.

One of my very favorite movies, "ROADHOUSE", starring Patrick Swayze (who is facing his own battle with cancer) and Jeff Healey....I can watch it over and over. You can feel the bond of love between them in the scenes they filmed together. We have all been blessed in whatever way we have experienced Jeff's music...he was an incredibly "gifted" human being...How lucky the angels in Heaven are now, while he serenades them!

Gonna miss him....learned a lot of great songs on my guitar....big loss !

a true great, will be truly missed. Memories of his incredible talent still remain.

My girlfriends and I saw Jeff in concert in Perth Ontario about five years ago. It was one of the best concerts I had ever seen. You will be truly missed Jeff!!!!
Susan from Almonte Ontario

He brought a smile to everyone who got to experience his wonderful talents. Rest In Peace Jeff Healey, you will truly be missed!

The First Time I Heard You On The Radio,I Was Hooked,Keep Rocking Jeff

I was a student at MUN in St. John's, Newfoundland and saw Jeff and his band three or four nights in a row in a small bar - I sat right up front. My friends and I couldn't believe what we saw and heard. And he kept getting better - Thank you, Jeff.

Wish you were here with us to wish you a Happy Birthday.
Always in my thoughts.

*Make sure you say hey to SRV and all the others at the all star jam.

I saw Jeff Healey at the Blues and Brews festival a few years ago, he was truly an amazing performer and seemed to be a humbled human being. I had the opportunity to have a brief conversation with him after his performance and will always remember his calm presence. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time. barbara

I saw Jeff at Newcastle City Hall and in Leeds a few years ago now and he was amazing. I'm more of a Jazzer but I'm always inspired by people like Jeff who can impovise some wild blues.
He's going to be a miss

I was first introduced to Jeff's music when I saw the movie Roadhouse. Unfortunately I never got to see him in concert but I do have some CDs of his. At a recent Coco Montoya concert, Coco did a beautiful tribute to Jeff with a song that brought the house down.
Another great talent gone but not forgotten. He will forever be missed.

I feel blessed and charmed to be able to share in is glow while watching him on stage. He has the soul of an angle and a talent that was beautiful to see in person. Was is still shocked to think of him not here any more I am glad that I have the CD's to still hear his voice and my pictures of him to remember him by. My Peace be with with you Jeff.

Very sad to hear the news. First saw Jeff when he stole the show in "Roadhouse". Never got to see him in concert. What a player! What an incredible person. So long Jeff and condolences to your family.

I am overwhelmed by the lost of such an inspirational and caring person. Nothing but sadness fills my heart, but the memories that I have will live onn forever! You will nerver be forgotten Jeff! We Love you! A Forever Fan!

It is very sad , I loved his music and also a lot of my friends from Israel , we all going to miss you Jeff

I saw Jeff Healey one time, it is soon 2 years ago, and since that day I have always loved his music. I weep about his death, all my wishes to his family and I hope that they will be reunited.
Rest In Peace Jeff Healey

The Jeff Healey Band are a great and classic sound of blues and rock . I was lucky enough to see them in London on the Get Me Some tour, and i was right near the front and watched the great Jeff playing he's stuff. it was top draw and a great gig. Jeff will be sadly missed. He was a true master of his art.

I remember the first time we had heard the Jeff Healey Band on Roadhouse. My husband and I chose his song Angel Eyes as our wedding song. He was a great singer and he will be missed by all that heard his songs, and knew him.

I can remember going camping with my family and friends back in '88' and putting on See the Light for the first time. Everyone was moved by at least one song on the tape. To my wife by Angel Eyes to my buddy by Hide Away. I thought to myself damn SRV has some competition now. Man I played that tape till it wore out. The world is left without another great guitar hero and courageous human being, we are fortunate to have his music left in our world.

Jeff's blues are on the "clinic music" list where I work. When I got home and googled his name I learned that he had died just weeks ago. He has left lots of music for me to explore. Thank you Jeff.

I guess my first memory was his appearance in Roadhouse. That boy could play! Guitar is difficult enough but to sit it in your lap and get those chops down in spite of being sightless was nothing short of amazing. I was shocked when I saw him listed in the Memoriam segment on the RRHOF broadcast a couple of weeks ago. A very sad loss to the music industry. Condolences to his family and friends

You will be missed. God has added another member to His heavenly band!!

I was a little girl and saw roadhouse..i have ben a fan since the moment i saw him play that steel guitar..it created a love in my heart for all things music..i pray for peace in all of our hearts..tho his music will play for all time..my heart is heavy in your passing

I heard the news today. I am very saddened to hear of your passing Jeff, you were a truly great musician.

Thanks for making me feel so wonderful with your gift of music.

I THINK I LOVE YOU TOO MUCH!!!

To quote P.S ...Not Bad For A Blind White Boy! Rest in Peace not only to a first class Musician, but a first class Human Being......you've accomplished more in your short time than most people do with a lot more. To your family and friends ...God Bless!!
