You get that feeling (about John) that he was one of those rare people about whom no one could say anything negative. A good man now gone. But we are all the best for knowing him.
A word that is often overused but certainly warranted in this case. 'Pes' or 'Mr Pes' was an incredibly passionate man who unceasingly gave of himself. I can still remember his sense of unbridled joy when his beloved Emu Plains A Grade won the GF under Trev and Wal. The only way to describe him was as a human dynamo; boundless energy and indomitable spirit. A tremendous loss. My condolences to his loving family. He will be sorely missed.
were all still in shock, in the short period I had met you, you always knew the right things to say, the office is sooo quiet with you buddy.... Gone but not forgotten... Condolences to the family JOF...colleague from work
The Three B's... Big, Bold and Beautiful. Big in laughter, bold in nature and beautiful in spirit. We'll always remember you with a smile, as wide and endless as yours. The Blattman Family.
I am in shock! I can't believe it! Dear Jill and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. There are so many memories of John that come to mind, and I know that in time, they will make you smile. My deepest sympathy to you all. Sue WAtling (Kitcheman)

John was a loyal, true and passionate friend. He dedicated himself to many sporting associations and became a local icon. He had a great sense of humour, was loving and kind. I will miss him.
