I remember meeting Joe for the first time when Julie took me to meet her mum and dad and they were just so welcoming, I was always made to feel like part of the family. Joe was just a brilliant guy, always easy to talk to, nevery judging, always there with good advice, a smile and a cuddle when you needed it. I feel priviliged to have known him.

Dad I remember when you used to sit next to me, poke me in my arm then look away, pretending you didn't do anything then laugh and when you used to tell us stories of the past and make us laugh. I miss you so much dad it hurts but I know you will always be by my side. I love you dad and always will keep you in my heart. Julia

Just a good bloke, who I'm glad I met and will never forget

I have lots of memorys but these are a few. i remember going round and walkin through the door and he would say lizzie and ask how i was, and have a little talk, he would be watchin his cricket on the tele and telling me about it. Another memory is when he asked me and Juanita to paint the outside wall white, and he told juanita to put his blue overalls on, and we would be painting the wall and he would come and check on us and see if we were doing a good job, even though we spilt a bit. I remember wen me and are maxine went round to grandmas n grandads..and we was there for a bit..and grandad meade was fixing a plug or sumet... And whilst doin it we ask himfor a lift home.. And for some reason he said to me,,,,Well seanibwoy you hav to go to college to do this and study hard..And i was to blagged to ask him agen... I love and miss you grandad you was a great man...Rest in peace grandad i love you

whichever to teams were playin i would support one G.dad joe would always support the other lol so we would always be bickerin over hus winning n hus not ha we always had competition on match day.same way with cricket. if you was goin to sit down with him at weekends u needed to no ur cricket ha cuz thats what would most definetly be on.. love u x R.I.P xxx
