I met Joyce through the Burwood's St James Church, probably over 15 years ago. I remember her as a kind, quiet and gentle person who missed her husband dearly. I valued her peaceful friendship even though we were a couple of generations apart. When I married, she gave us a little travelling alarm clock that I used for years. Such a practical gift! I remember she had a dog that she loved - was it Sandy? We lost touch over the years after I moved away, but strangely I dreamt about her last night and she has been in my thoughts all day. So I felt prompted to Google her name, and found this. Though there is nothing really strange in God's world. Dear Joyce, now you are with our Lord. I am glad I met you. My sincere condolences to Joyce's family.
