Kay set a standard for caring and unselfishness. She looked out for others, while Greg was looked out for her. I visited her and Greg, from Japan, and she made me the focus of the visit, though she could have easily focused on her illness. During her last visit to the US, she probably shouldn't have come to California, but she insisted on visiting us. Though extremely weak and in pain, she participated in activities and spread positive energy to all those around her! What a team she and Greg made! Kay, we will miss you. Semper Fi, Z

I met Kay at Mercantile Mutual Pitt Street Sydney. She was so shy and quiet at first but our friendship grew over the years and I was honoured to be her matron of honour. Kay made my dress for the wedding herself. We had many fittings because the dress had to be perfect, as that was what Kay was like. Near enough was not good enough for Kay. Over the years we shared many enjoyable shopping sessions together including the purchase of my engagement ring. Kay was a true lady in the full sense of the word and I will always remember her and the enjoyable times we spent together. Kay was a true friend and I will love her always. Gill xxoo
