First of all, I just want to give my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of K-swift. She will be missed by all for many reasons. Although I didn't know her personally, when I heard about the tragic incident I was blown away. It felt like I had just recieved some bad news about a family member of my own. It's really no words that a person can say to help loved ones through this sad time but, I just want to say that every thing happens for a reason and most of the time we don't understand why. God puts peolpe in our lives for seasons. Khia's time here will always be remembered. just know that God is a good God and a Great God and he doesn't put us through anything that he we can't handle. It's going to be a rough road ahead for you and here is what you should do...at night when you can't sleep or when your just in deep thought about khia, remember the good times that you had with her, know that she is a better place looking down on you and would want you to have a smile on your face. You will always be remembered. I never met you personally but I can say coming from DC, club music has never been my cup of tea (or Go-Go for that matter). I moved to Baltimore in 2005 and caught OFF THE HOOK radio on the humble one night... Every since then I have "danced my pain away" "watched out for the big girls" and lookin for the "riders". You are and will for ever be LOVED.

K-swift, You meant the world to me.You were not only an amazing DJ but a phemonenal person. No matter how bad my days were,When your club mixes would come on I would forget all my troubles.Everything that was bothering me was suddenly gone.I could relate to you,1 because you are a woman and 2 because you were a young woman on her grind.You seemed so leveled and had yourself figured out and that was inspiring to me. You passing has hit me extremely hard and I didnt personally know you,So I cant even imagine how the people who knew and were close to you feel.My heart goes out to you. I saw your mother on television yesterday.she seemed so strong.I can tell that you were alot like her. Me and many others will not let your memory die.You will live on in the hearts and minds of many people. RIP.

I didn't know K-Swift personally but I felt as though I did. She seemed so personable on the radio and just so full of life and spirit. She was such an inspiration to so many young females who looked up to her. She was that shining example of what women could do if they just believed and put in the hard work necessary to achieve. She inspired me to lose weight because when I saw how much she lost. I said if Swift can do it so can I. Thank you Khia you were a talent like no other. i come from a little town in pa where u wouldnt think u would here this kind of music well i came acrossed a cd and i was amazed by it well now i own about 10 of her cds you will be missed you were a wonderful mixer and im sure as well as a wonderful daughter and friend

When I first K-Swift she amazed me with her club mixes...I couldn't believe this was a female she came with hard and made those rest of the guys work. I just want 2 say my heart goes out 2 the family of k-swift stay strong god is with u and k-swift is looking down on u with that beautiful smile.I didn't know her well but i remember the first time i saw her at the alicia keys 2008 concert, she sat across from me i was 2 shy to come over and say hi and shake her hand she was a celeb 2 me, but i smiled at her and she smiled back and that memory is burned in my mind and heart forever u will be truly missed by everyone. I never really knew much about her, but both me and my uncle were very big fans of her and her music. Though she was Baltimore's youngest female Dj her music will never be forget and neither will her love for it.I've always dreamed of meeting Khia Edgerton a.k.a Dj K-Swift a.k.a The Club Queen. But now all we can do is pray keep her dream alive. And in my heart there will never be another Club Queen like Khia was. But we'll see her again, god is love and so is she peace!!! R.I.P
