my eulogy at Lenore's celebration of life .. .. Lenore Preshaw – my words will be brief perhaps not like a Lenore story. My first and most important thought is about, and to Lenore. In recent times, Lenore would complain that she had not had a successful business career. I would say that she had been more successful by raising & guiding three children to adulthood as well as being successful in many other ways. Today, I stand here and say to her, as I look out at all of you, your presence today proves me right. So what was Lenore? She was • Forthright, opinionated, and out spoken (to quote her – she called a spade a spade) • A dedicated, caring and exceptional mother • A devoted and loving wife – my partner – many times a sparring partner • An organiser (par excellence) of almost anything • A carer (for almost everyone) • Always there when you needed her & sometimes when you didn’t So what else did she achieve? - I will leave that to our children – her pride and joy. I will only say that our married life started almost 40 years ago and should have continued for the at least the next 20. Lenore often complained about IBM but she knew that IBM started us on our married life in 1970 by sending me (& my new wife to London) for 9 months. I have a few last thoughts 1. Paul Bannister, our friend in the USA summarised it perfectly. He wrote “this can’t be true. Lenore’s personality is a force of nature, she’s eternal” 2. Do you remember when Obi-One-Kon-Obi (in Starwars) said “May the force be with you”. He was talking about Lenore. If Lenore supported you, the force was with you and achieving your goal became easy. If not, then achieving your goal was like sailing into a gale force wind. 3. My only logical explanation for her untimely departure is that God must have needed someone to help him organise heaven. Thank you Lenore my darling, I love you, I do not know how I will continue without you. I and everyone here will never forget your bright sparkling personality – you have loved and helped me and so many others so often.

Lenore was a loving, caring and very proud parent of her children who were also my pupils many years ago. She was a bright sparkling personality with a great sense of fun and laughter, always ready to help and give so generously of herself and her time. She was a valued friend to me and to so many at Roseville P.S. I mourn her sudden death and my heartfelt sympathy and love goes to Ken, Kurt, Lara and Clay. Marilyn Nash

What a beautiful and gracious lady ............ Lenore and family lived next door to our little piece of heaven on Brush Creek Road. Always smiling and welcoming and witty. Such a bright light. My love, thoughts and sincere condolences go to Ken and all her family. Judi Emmett
