Christmas time for remembering a good friend always in my heart Val
A year has passed and we miss you heaps always in our hearts Val and Anne
My memories of Marianne go back to the mid eighties when I was working out my identity and who I was in the world. She was a wise woman as well as thoughtful and playful. I saw her only occasionally in the latter years but she was always the same woman of peace as well as being gracious, wise .... and still playful. I will miss her.
Four decades of wonderful times together. We will never forget a wonderful, vibrant and giving friend. We will miss you.
Marianne was one of those special people whom you met and really really liked - her sophisticated Danish style, her humour, her authenticity, her love of other friends and friendships, her fabulous people skills and all good things in life. So many memories of Marianne over about 30 years will remain with us and particularly when she visited our land in early August this year for afternoon tea by the bonfire, followed by our homemade travel dvds which she really enjoyed . She loved the land here and looked forward to returning soon. We will miss her happy smiling face and her warm friendship.
Marianne - fit, healthy, positive, well organised, cheerful, generous, a picture of Nordic womanhood. Her directness could catch you off guard - no beating around the bush with Marianne! I will miss her.
My memory of Marianne is of a fit, organised, stylish Danish woman whose versatility spanned from correcting my swimming in the waters of Berarra to sharing opera CDs and always being an ambassador for Danish cuisine. She will keep me mindful of always fully seizing the day.
You will be always with us,in so many memeories of dinner, lunch and fun with you.Just thinking of you makes me smile.
My memories 30 yrs ago eating mangoes at a picnic in Neilson Park on New Years Day and Marianne showing me the correct way to peel them. Laughter, fun and great friendship that lasted 30 yrs. My last memory of Marianne will be last year at our property when she came to visit. We all sat under one of our gum trees sipping red wine and watching a glorious sunset. Marianne loved the bush. We will plant a gum tree in her memory and open a bottle of red in celebration of her life.. Always remembered great! great! t friend and sadly missed.
We have shared so many wonderful times in the past and every moment will be treassured like a true gem. We can all learn from Marianne's life and lifestyle..always positive, adventurous ,great sence of houmor ,thoughtful and so very happy ,orderly and healthy...Could I be just half of what you radiated ,I would be a lucky person I am so fortunate to have been a small part of your life . May you rest in peace in Heaven ,,my and all our hearts are with you forever. Bente
