I first met Marion in August 1983. My first day of my first job straight out of school. I was like Marion's little shaddow, for the next few years I learnt everything from her, she alway's had time to help with anything, nothing was every too much. Marion was an amazing person who always considered other people, she was a brilliant supervisor, no pushover but always fair. A great character we had such a great time at works nights out and a few trainning courses. always in my thoughts Liz

Hi my name is Jim. Where do i start? Marion was one of a kind,I could go through many stories of her and will do so regulary but start with my 1st and recent visit to Australia in Nov 09.My wife Cindy and myself arrived in Sydney on 9/11/09 and had just arrived off the plane when i got a text saying "welcome to Sydney" from Marion that was the start of my most memorable holiday EVER,she had just picked us up took us straight to Bondi as you do, past her first house in Mascot and to their house in Dural, from that moment on nothing was a problem to Marion, Martin,Sean or Scott. She helped us organise a few days to the blue mountains and even loaned me her new Mercedes! who would do that? But the most funny thing of all was one day we went to Castle Towers shopping,Cindy got out of the car and still had her slippers on! we were falling about laughing and Marion said "we will go to Coles and get a cheap pair of 'thongs' "as you Auzzies call them so in we go Marion finds a pair reduced in price but when we get to the checkout they come up full price "HOLD IT if it says that price on the ticket thats all we will be paying"says Marion "it's the law" guess what we got them at the lower price she would not be out beaten on that as anybody that shopped with would know. I will update this at a later stage.James (Jim)

Marion was a beautiful person who always took the time to chat with me and my family, many cups of tea were shared along with stories of her family whom she loved very much. She often spoke of her sons and their latest escapades. Marion was a strong person who had great wit and also compassion for her fellow man. It is a great loss. Her character traits will live on in her sons. We will miss her.
