I worked with Matt in real estate 12 years ago. We became friends and had lot's of great times and laughs together. Matt always looked out for me and others. He was smart and full of wisdom which I found very inspiring. I only heard the sad news tonight. I would like to pass on my condolences to Matt's family and friends. I will miss you and will hold onto all the great times and lovely memories.

Dear Mat
I hope that you have found peace at last.

I have known Mat since he was a young boy through my friendship with his parents. I also had the privilege of working with Mat who - at his best - was a world class property consultant and saleman. A few short weeks ago in January I enjoyed a BBQ and a swim at Aspendale with him. We has a great time recounting past shared experiences and talking about the future. He left his beachtowel behind, and I had planned to get to him. Mat was a handful at times - no question - but a wonderful human being and friend. Le Hoa and I are shocked and saddened. He still had so much to offer. We will miss him greatly and always remember him with great fondness. John Wysham
