The first time I ever met Megan we were at the Green Goose and she said something to me and I was laughing so hard there were tears in my eyes...The last conversation I had with her she was so excited to get back to the states and was looking forward to the birth of her baby boy...i was telling her to prepare for the sleepless nights and absolute amazement of babyhood...never did i think that something like this could happen. Megan, where ever you are I know you and your baby are in a better place.

Megan would always come into my work, with a huge smile on her face. She was always so happy and able to make me laugh. I was so excited to find out she was expecting her first child. I recently told her I was also expecting my first. She was so supportive and excited for me as well. She is an angel. God bless her and her family.

I had just got to Germany and was awaiting the arrival of my family, I was sitting outside on the picnic table and you saw I had nothing to do so you invited me out with you and your friends we had the best time ever!!! We were as tight as could be since then I will never be able to tell you face to face again how much I enjoyed your presence. You always had a word of motivation for me when I just was feeling run down, it seems that I am looking for those words from you even now. As I try to prevent these tears from running down my face I need you to know that I miss you and will never forget you for as long as I live. IF im alive then your alive "T". I watched you mature into a beautiful woman and go from giving up to becoming a proud expecting mother. I know that God is holding you and your baby tightly in his grasp. I know that GOD controls all things and that is where I am finding the strenght to carry on through out this deployment. I just know that I was taught when you lose a friend you gain an angel.... Ride with ya boi!!! R.I.P

I have known Touma for years all the way back to Ft Drum, NY. It was my first duty station and I had the opportunity to work with her at the clinic. She was always happy, ALWAYS. She was always laughing. No matter what she had going on in her personal life she came to work with a smile. She was good at her job and fun to be around. Never did I think I would be stationed with her again after I found out she was PCS'ing to Germany. About 3 years later, I got orders and come to find out...Touma was in my same command. I was suprised and excited to see a familiar face. I was just in Spain with her last month. We went on a bus trip to Barcelona in May and I just remember seeing her dancing all over the dance floor, having a great time. She was so excited about having the baby and moving to Bragg. She was really looking forward to the new life that was coming her way. I'm totally shocked and saddened by what's happened. I can't process it, she was just here. I guess the only way to explain this tragedy is to remember the good die young. She was a good person with a kind heart. Rest in Peace Touma and we will remember you, always.

I have been here in Germany for almost 3 years, and I have known SPC Touma for about that same amount of time. During that time, we shared small talk and laughed about crazy things. But my most memoriable moment, had to about a month after i returned back to work after giving birth to my son our unit had a "commanders call" (where all our surrounding dental clinics come together and do training and get briefings) and I sat next to her and we began talking that same old small talk and then she proudly proclaimed that she was pregnant and even had a named picked out. We continued to talk and she asked questions about being a new mother and I tired my best to answer. Although, I didnt she her every day and didnt hang out with her on the weekends, we had one of the most special conversation a mother-to-be can have. It saddens me greatly that she will not be able to hold her newborn child for the first time and feel the rush of uncontrolable love that it brings. But, god had plans for her and her unborn baby as he does for all of us. Her untimely death only shows us how precious our lives are and we need to live them to the fullest. Megan, YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN A WONDERFUL MOTHER AND YOU WERE A NICE GENUINE PERSON. Coop- aka Wendell

I served with SPC Touma in Fort Drum, NY. She was a very sweet and funny girl. Although I use to always mispernounce her name i would always call her TUNA haha...I dont know why something so tragic happens like this, she will be greatly missed and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family of Megan. I now kno I have another great angel watching over me on these last months I have left in Iraq. RIP MEGAN!

I had the honor of serving our great country with Megan while stationed in Bamberg, Germany. Megan was a fun person to hang out with and be around, she always lifted the spirits of others around her and she always stood up for what she believed in. Megan, I can remember the first time I met you while I was on CQ next to Ox's room, I also remember the last time I spoke with you just b4 I re-deployed and I will never forget the fun times in between. I know you and your lil one are in a better place watching over the rest of us soldiers who need angels like you to guide us thru our difficult lives. My heart goes out to your family during this great loss and the hard rimes ahead. We will always remember...

Whenever I hear about things such as this I am always sickened. Why anyone would take a life, I can't fathom... and even worse that of a pregnant woman. My thoughts go out to those who have lost today. I don't know Megan, but her story has touched me deeply. Kelli Brown West Virginia
