Pete the fun times we had down at port MacDonald in the South East were we jumped of the jetty at the boatshed we called it ,you did alot of fishing of the end of that jetty as well.
You had your favourite surfing beach as well there and
it was not that far from the dump. All the fun you had with your brothers Philip,John and your mates at the lake were you went swimming and had lots of fun just messing around on the platform jumping off and being you.
You always loved the woolwash as there were always big waves there and you always felt that you were free when you were out amoung the waves as you always loved the sea. Till we meet again R.I.P. Pete
Love always Mary-Jane

My friend Duigie…What you see is what you Get.
A left handed goofy footer with a heart of gold .
With your big late drops and that two stage standup style you got some of the most hideous gaping pits that the point could possibly deliver.
You always let life know that you were up for some action with some of your classic old school antics around The Barri.
You always mysteriously turned up just when I needed cheering up or I needed a shoulder and you always worn your heart on your sleeve.
Your word was your bond with me and always will be.
We may not have our future trips up north now but when I go….you will be with me I am sure.
Your deep love and your intuitive connection with the Kalbarri surrounds is what you were all about Duigie …cause just like nature….with you Duigie - it was always …….”What you see is what you get”.
See ya there old mate.

Pete wanted to go out one Friday night. Being only 14 and his Mum (Monica) being fairly strict we had to come up with a plan so we could get to the pub with our mates. Well normally I'd play basketball on a Fri night but had a bye this particular Fri so he said he was coming to watch me play! Sorted!! Little did he know he was to get into a fairly nasty fight this night and although he won he still managed to get his light blue windcheater covered in blood.Well when we arrived home as per usual Monica sprung us and she was horrified!!!! Pete said he'd run into the pole at basketball....mmmm...dont think she believed him somehow hehe

My oldest mate...we met when 11yo vying for the only altar boys outfit that fitted us (yes...hard to believe but he WAS once an altar boy!). Funnily enough he was ALWAYS there earlier than me and enjoyed watching me go a over t in front of a congregation of about 300 people when i stood on the end of it... water and wine going everywhere!!!
