Too late to get in touch - too early for Peter to leave us. Fond, very fond memories of Peter. We worked together on Matlock Police. On location he would wrap his arm around me and as we walked to the set he would entertainment me wonderful stories. I was given his telephone number last year, but in the hustle and bustle of daily life I forgot. I wish I would have knew about his passing> Thank you Peter for your love, friendship and guidance in those years. Thank you to the both of you for helping me when I came to Sydney - your wonderful games an especially those wonderful stories - which I have had the pleasure of sharing with my children. Rest in Peace Det Sgt from your side kick Steve York.
I had the pleasure of working with Peter in 1987 and have amazing memories of my time with him... I am so sad to hear of his passing - He was such a lovely, generous person. I recently had the show we worked on together preserved at the National Film & Sound Institute Of Australia so, hopefully, future generations can have access to his wonderful work. Clay. What a great joy to have known Peter and Cecily as neighbours and then as real friends. Trish and I so enjoyed their company, their hospitality, their wit and humour. I could never watch him on screen without seeing the twinkle in his eyes, even at the most serious moments! Peter was such an outstanding person in so many ways. Cecily - there are no images of quinquiremes, let alone of Nineveh! John
Peter Gwynne, a star of screen and stage, soul mate of Cecily and dear dad of Amanda. Thank you dear man, for the laughs, love, guidance and for your special gift of life. The world will miss you. Vale Peter Vale XXXX
