I met Scott at the end of 2005 in Jakarta. I had joined DBS Bank just a few months before him, and he was to be my new boss. We worked together for 3 years, before he relocated to Sydney with the family. I am deeply saddened and indeed shocked to learn of Scott's untimely demise. May God bless his soul. I enjoyed my work association with Scott, and we became friends over time, with common interests around golf, and getting the occasional drink together at one of Jakarta's drinking holes. He was always great fun to be with, and had a unique (if outspoken) way of getting along with many different personality types. His wry sense of humour and a disarming and engaging smile remind me of some very good days we spent together. He was a great boss. I valued his career advice very much. My deepest condolences to Clemency, the girls and all of Scott's family. God bless you all.

Scott took me under his wing in Jakarta in 1998-2002, and was both a boss and a friend who taught me many things about work and life. He was often there for me after this time with brief but wise words of guidance and support. His assessments on life at times might not have been the most politically correct, but they were always on the money. My condolences to Clem and the family. I will miss you. Tim

We have wonderful memories of Scott during tricky times in Jakarta back in 1998-2000. Amazing work colleague - worked hard, played hard - Fashion Cafe, BATS, and who will forget your karaoke "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" to huge acclaim from our musically talented local colleagues! Great times with our young families - Christmas at yours. You always had a smile, a laugh and a Haiwaian shirt ! Our thoughts are with Clem and the girls. Much love Ian & Becca xx
