Hi Dad, Missing you every day of my life...still think you've gone away for a long holiday and won't be back for a while...but I know your having a well deserved sleep....cause when you wake up, man what a glorious day for all to celebrate to not only see you once again but our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ. Love you with every breath that I inhale.

Hey uncle, what can I say except that you were one of a kind. You and dad were always cooking up your island foods on Friday to prepare for Sabbath and every now and then one brother would call the other to see what was for tea if the other one hadn't cooked anything...hahahahaha...that's a typical sibling thing..lol. Uncle, your passions, your love for the ministry of God showed, every time you came into contact with people and I really admired that about you. The ability to tell so many stories, which were sometimes translated into samoan or tongan (and possibly even Cook Island if the poke was there...hahahaha...talk about a talent) but the passion and the drive through whatever means God had equipped you with was evident throughout your life and ministry for God and I thank you for that example. I was looking forward to having you come and see my grad because i told you to start saving your benefit so you could make it to my grad but you'll get to see the pictures when we meet in heaven and I'll use your example as one where I know never to be ashamed of the Gospel! Thank you uncle; love you heaps and miss you lots. Precious memories - how they linger.....what a day, glorious day that will be when we see you and meet you in the clouds of God's glory to spend eternity with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Love you and see you soon! Dont sleep too long ok!

Life as i know it is not the same and will never be the same. Your wisdom, your presence your voice was always full of life and character, and that can never be replaced. Dad no matter where you were, you will always make the room come alive, your shining smile from ear to ear and your exuberance for life, lifted not only me but many hearts and spirits. You were always my safety net, that i could come too and vent, discuss, debate, and be advised on all topics and issues of life. I pray that your example is shown thru me and to my daughter and your grand daughter Taimani. It Hurts so much that a new path is being walked as you are no longer here. I will always hold my head up high and proudly say you are my Father. Sleep well Pops as we endeavour to continue your Legacy thru the family and most importantly Spiritually. "HE IS MY FRIEND, HE IS MY GOD, HE IS EVERYTHING TO ME" See you when Christ comes Dad - Jnr, Margarita, Taimani and Storm

your smilez are always comforting, you talk like one of the cuzzies... (MANNNNN *smile*), you’re a great singer! I remember when you came over to my place back when I lived in Cranny and dad was visiting from NZ, which reminds me, Dad always appreciated, more like LOVED the clothes you would pass onto him, he’d be very proud to put on every shirt/t’shirt/pants/shorts etc and tell me “Uncle Semisi give dis one to me, BEAUTY!” he tried on EVERYTHING *smile*. You told me back in Cranny that Melbourne was planning the next family reunion and we were gonna make it the REUNION of all REUNIONZ! Man, no pressure aye uncle… hehehe* We had meetings upon meetings, we needed to know numbers etc….. Uncle, you should have seen how fast everyone came together for you, all the Saluniz came together from one end of the globe to the other, there was no need to plan that one, it just came together, and Melbourne took care of business, I can see you bragging about us in Melbourne and really proud of our whole family, there is a lot of love for you Uncle and you will always be with us everytime we get together in Melbourne or anywhere else in this world. Thank you for being Uncle Semisi, the best opera singer (next to benny) at church, and for reminding/drilling/telling me over and over of Gods Love, his plans for me and reminding me of how important my role is amongst my siblings and to our whole family. I love you Uncle and I look forward to seeing you at Jesus 2nd coming! Ofa lahi atu Savali, Daniel, Delavonte and Hutch jnr Faleauto*

Thank you for letting me call you "Dad", thank you for accepting and loving me like a son, thank you for enjoying our island authenticity, thank you for giving me your only daughter who you loved and cherished, thank you for loving my children and never failing once to attend every single event (school, sports etc.), thank you for giving me peace and comfort while I'm away working - your strength was my family's strength, thank you for giving me another mother and thank you for giving me your sons who I love like my own brothers. But above all, thank you for being the preacher and teacher I will never forget - not only in your local church, servicing melbourne or wherever you are called but ... in the Meleisea Home ... My home. Ia soifua tama malie le malologa tatou toe fa'atasi i le LAGI.

From the moment I met you, you were smiling! Gentle, kind and loving. You welcomed me into your family simply because Noah loved me and so you would love me too. We share the same birthday, we have the same initials (J. Saluni), I followed you in ministry at Frankston church where we were both elders, we both love Noah :) and you always encouraged us to love and serve the Lord above all else! Thank you for teaching me to drive :D, thank you for all the laughter and joy you brought into our lives, thank you for all the words of advice, wisdom and love. Wynden Drive will never be the same without your big smile that always greeted us in welcome. We all love and miss you so much. Rest in love until that glorious morn when we will see your smiling face again. Much Alofa's Gramps.xxxx Jackie

I had the great priviledge of getting to know this wonderful man through my cousin Edwina (RIP) when we were children. I felt he always generated a warm and inviting spirit with his laughter and kindness. His good works surely shone through to his family and I will miss bumping into him and having little chats in Frankston. Until we meet again....

Miss Dad. Still can't beleive it! Miss our 3-4 phone calls a day. I use to talk his ears off ... and he let me! An instrumental tool to all of my little family's decisions (phases in my life). Many words of wisdom. He had a huge presence. It's gone ... but not for long. Can't wait to see and hear his big, jolly, boisterous smile and laughter. A man of honour and integrity. Loved singing and playing the guitar - from gospel to "c'mon baby, lets do the twist" (a grandchildren favorite). Dad was a gift to me, Junior, Zion, Ella and Sienna.

I cherish the fact that Semisi, treated Junior (Meafor Faavae) as his own son. He showed Junior understanding and gave him room to be himself. I loved the fact that he cared so dearly about his children and especially his grandchildren. His christianity was practical and I for one benefitted from that. Semisi's smile was an invitation to join him in his walk and experience of God. I believe he lives on in his family, praise God for the good work he began in Semisi Saluni. We shall see him on Resurrection morning. May God embrace Ella and the family as you grow in strength from day to day. God bless.
