I work as a Court Reporter in the Supreme Court of NSW. It was an absolute pleasure to type shorthand when Simon Kerr spoke in court. We shall miss listening to his words of wisdom from the bar table. Deepest sympathies to the Family.

Dear James, we were very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Meeting in Aspen at the beginning of 2011 was special and sharing some of that holiday with you and your Dad helped make our holiday. We had hoped the friendship would stay with us for a long time but sometimes short times can be a lifetime. It makes you realise how important it is to make the most of your life and the time you have with those special to you. Bin, we haven't met but i was a ravenswood old girl. I am truly sorry for your loss. In the short time I knew Simon, I came to understand how much he loved his family...you, James and your mother. My memories of Simon include his love of cars and driving (hence my choice of image), slightly excentric art, Pol Roger champagne, great restaurants, the finest of most things, his wit and when he was on the ski slopes, like no doubt most things in his life, the way he put his whole heart into it. our love to you all Michelle, Dione and Evie
My thoughts and condolences are with Simons family at this more than difficult time. Although our friendship and contact since our school days waned, I have many happy memories of time spent together as friends growing up. I will always remember games of snooker in that beautiful room in your old Pymble house that seemed to go on for the whole day. I will also always remember a kind, generous, hard working and succesful person who sadly had to leave well before his time. Simon, you had nothing left to prove and you will be missed by many. Cameron
Our most heartfelt thoughts and condolences to Simon’s family and friends at this tough time. The Rockpool family enjoyed Simon as one of their own and he was a joy to see each and every time he stepped foot in our place…which was often. We shall miss him.
I went to school with Simon and I was shocked to hear of his passing. My thoughts and wishes to his family.
Dear James, I hope you are OK. Sorry to hear your dad died. I miss you lots and send you big hugs. You are still my BFF. love from Robert Scott Davie
We were deeply saddened with the passing of Simon on Sunday. Our love and thoughts to all of his family, especially young James. Simon you will be missed.
Dear Carol, Bin and family, The loss of Simon this week has hit us really hard. I feel robbed of someone who had much more to give. As you say he did so much in a relatively short time. One thing I will always remember of Simon is his cheeky sense of humour. Always saying the most inappropriate things at exactly the right time! He will be missed by us all and I hope that through James you will keep a bond with Simon as though he is still here in spirit. Our thoughts are with you this week and I look forward to being with you on Friday to say farewell to Simon. Love James
The Alver Family send their condolences.
