Stephen was close to the perfect brother. He understood me as a brother ideally does. We had fights and vigorous discussions, but always there was the deep love and bond. He was my beautiful little brother, but his great depth and intelligence and compassion meant I also looked up to him. No matter what, he was the best friend you could ask for. He was the quiet one who shored you up, laughed and cried with you, stood up for you, and listened when you needed to cry.
I could have asked for no better brother.
I loved him all my life, and that shall always continue.
