Ugo, words alone cannot explain what your absence does to us. I still cant believe that you are truely gone. For some reason i believe that you are still far away in school. I missed severl opportunities to call you and tell you how much i love you. I guess i thought that we have you forever. But i know that you now in a better place and that at God's own time, we shall all meet again. We console ourselves with memories and pictures of you. God be with you.

Ugo I don't know what to say or do these days. Some nights I just cry till my eyes grow weary and heavy. My heart just hurts every time I remember that you are gone. Your laughter is fully embedded in my spirit. Your voice etched on my soul. I can never forget you. It just hurts so much knowing I can never see you or feel you again till I leave this world. I don't know what to do sometimes but Almighty God knows best. No one can ever replace you. You were and still are ONE in a MILLION. I love you so much my brother & I miss you dearly. Your sister~ Ojinika

Ugo, I miss your face everyday, I miss your voice, your laughs, the way you call me Ochuora, I miss your stories from school, I miss everything about you, Sometimes I remember you are gone and I just want to scream and refuse to accept it. But after all that, you are still gone, I just break down and cry, I dont know how it will ever be acceptable. Though we know you are in a better place, it is just impossible to grasp it. I dont know what to do with you gone, but we will keep dragging on, till we meet again. I love you so so much, i miss you more than words could ever tell, Your sister, Adaora

Uncle Ugo why did you have to go. It's to early too soon. I still cant believe you're actually gone. You were my favorite in your not only because we bear the same name but because you were fun to be around and play with. Do you remeber the time you came to our house on a bicycle. You told us you want to get in shape and we all started to laugh. Then you took us outside to see your bike and i said uncle that i want a bike just like yours and you said no problem. Some years went by and we went to your house with our mother and lucky your were there. you took me and my bros to the garage and showed the bicycles you promised us and that we should take them home. Once you made a promise you kept right until the end. Now your gone and i'll never see you again. But I promise to live up to my UGOCHI. Just like you did. Bye but see you later. luv UGO.

Ugo dear, my wedding was a beautiful day for me, yet full of tears, i looked around to see you to no avail, I see Okey and Gerry and know that the physical of you is missing, it brought me to tears many times, but I know that you were there in spirit, we all miss you so so much. Its being a little over 2 months since you passed on to glory. Many times I wish if only I can turn back the hands of time a little over 2 months, everything will be alright because you will be alive and kicking. But that is one thing God made impossible for us mortals. I know you are with God and looking down on us, we just cant help but to miss you. do take care, you are forever in our heart.

ugo my brother, my pains are increasing by the day. I know that you are happy and don't want us to be crying for you anymore but i can't help to think that you are gone. Please come and ease our pains and dry our tears. We need closure and can only get that from God so please talk to God for us ok. I will never forget you. You are deeply missed. Everyone is back from school but you are no where to be found. I miss you, i miss you, and will miss you forever till we meet again.

IN THE POTTER’S HAND “….And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel ,as seemed good to the potter to make it…..” ( Jer 18:4) Sometimes one may ask, does it mean that a life placed in the hand of GOD can just go like that? This remain a very difficult question to answer.GOD is all knowing GOD and full of wisdom. When a life goes,He is able to transform it into another vessel as seemed good to HIM.So also is the resurrection of the death ; It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.Except a corn seed is sown ,it cannot bring forth plant [ life ].When GOD made man ,he carefully packaged man because HE understood our weakness.HIS strength is always made manifest in our weakness. When trouble blows…….. Jehova sees …………….. Jehova knows…………… He is our peace…………. One thing I could remember about this Youngman when I use to visit the family at new-heaven , is the way he smiles .His smile gives me feelings of acceptance, warm reception ,appreciation and a sense of belonging. When I remembered the circumstance surrounding his death, it shows me that he is such a person that loves friends and love play with friends, just like his senior brother. The last time I spoke with his dad , shortly before his death .Dad told me that he was in Poland for his academic pursuit. One never knew that it was going to be the end of another beginning. There are times in life when it seems as if we are placed in the wrong place at the wrong time, but there are reasons why we are there.U.gee might be missed but his memories keep on shining like the heavenly stars. The sudden news concerning his death came to me like a wind of confusion.I was very much touched. My heart was full of sorrow and my soul filled with grief. On the other hand, i thank GOD for his grace and strength to overcome the moment of hard time. There is a time and season for everything under the sun. There is no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal .GOD is a healer. For brass HE will bring gold and for iron HE will bring silver. We are deliberate work of art in the hand of GOD.Like a vessel in the hand of the potter, so is Ugochukwu Owen Ikedilo right now in the hand of the Almighty GOD.May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.AMEN!

It's hard to believe that you are gone but we must remember that in God's time, all things are perfect. You are now with our Heavenly Father where all things are perfect. I will always treasure the memories of Towson Intramural basketball. We had a great team! You could always find a way to make me smile and of course always talking about politics (I loved those conversations!). You will never be forgotten. I pray that God will give your family and friends peace as we continue our journey. I know you are in heaven smiling down and waiting for us to join you! Until then....

Ugo its been almost 8 weeks since you fell and 7 weeks since you died. I still don't understand it. I still don't understand why you had to go so soon and so sudden. I wish God can explain it to us. Please come back to us and tell us you are ok. We miss you so so much, all your jokes, your laughter, everything about you. Life is so unfair. We will never be complete again without you but we know you'll always be with us. We love you dear brother.

Ugo two months has passed and my prayer to God everyday is that he bring you back from death. I know it might seem like a child desire but that will continue to be my prayer until I die. Even if it means you coming as a baby, a pet or a ghost but to wake up with the belief that i will not see you again is simply not acceptable. We worship a living God, and nothing is too late or possible for him. So therefore i will never give up.

Owen was one of us and for everybody. You knew when he was arriving, when he arrived and when he left. He opinions he hid from no one, his smiles and enthusiasm infectious, and his beliefs he stood for it like a rock. A very confident young man who on one- on - one showed that he can touch everyone in a special way. A nice human being who always came to say hello on the first floor before he went upstairs to his room on the third floor. Home was far away from Poland, but he was one of the few who made Poland a place to belong as foreign student. Brother Owen, every time I hear an approaching footsteps in the hallway that echo one of your grand entrance to room 06, I had to sadly remind myself that my dear brother is no longer around. Thanks for being part of our lives. I miss you and all the boys miss you brother. RIP! Oga Davis (Boss Man)!

Where do I even start? Ugo was like a brother to me. I thank God because Ugo lived life to the fullest. Ugo wouldn't let anything stand in the way of anything he wanted to accomplish. I remember when we were younger and couldn't drive yet. On days we wanted to play basketball, Ugo would cut through a forest and walk to my house, we would play and he would walk back home. Nothing would stand in his way. When you talked to Ugo you could feel his enthusiasm and zeal for life. Within 2 minutes of talking to him, he would have you cracking up. Ugo, I still can't believe you're gone. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Thanks for the memories, the laughter, the phone calls, the arguments and the sheer joy you brought into all our lives. May you soul rest in perfect peace.

Ugo, I still remember when you decided to pledge APO a Towson. You were hilarious and fun to be around. We had many great times inside and outside the fraternity and you will be dearly missed. I still remember you insisting that you were 40 haha, the good old days! Your enthusiasm for life and genuine care for others will always remain in my heart. May you rest in peace and look over us all from above.

Not a day go by that I dont cry, waking wishing that I have been through a terrible nightmare, only to realize over and over again that it is indeed through that you are gone. You were our strength, joy and helper when you were alive and I know that you still continue to be so, as I often dream and picture you on the right hand of the Lord smiling down every time the pain seems unbearable. You were always independent, only wanting to see smiles on people's face never asking for anything in return. I wish God has given us a chance to say goodbye and render a last touch, but He knows best. You will live on forever in our hearts and your memory will continue to be our strength, it feels impossible to deal with some of the woes of this world without you but I know that with time, God's help and your approval, we will survive this. you will never be forgotten. i love you my brother, I miss you my warrior. Go on and be that mighty Soldier in the Lord that you were even when alive. Till we meet again, Adieu. Your sister Adaora

Ugo it is a pity you had to go this way, but we know well enough not to question God for he is the giver and taker. I lost an only sister 4 months ago so i know exactly how the lovely family you left behind are feeling right now, but be assured that God has been their strength and will continue to be our strength as we all come to terms with your untimely departured from this earth to go and be with the Lord. Ugo, even though I've only met you once at you brother Gerald's wedding where we were his grooms men, it still feels like I've known you forever. I still laugh when I remember some of the things we joked about that period, like me referring to your brother Okey as "monkey dey work, baboon dey chop" for eating while everyone else was busy decoration the hall that morning, and that led to you giving me my own nick name (which i will not reveal for obvious reasons). G told me you were planning to visit me in London after you exams and that hurts right now. Don Owen, you touched the hearts of many by simply being yourself and that we can not forget. You may be gone but your fond memories will contiue to live with us forever. Rest in peace in the Lord my brother until we meet to part no more. Adieu!!

Ugo, it is true that you left so soon, but it is my believe that the will of God be done. No one can question Him, for He is the giver, and taker of all that He created. I heard a lot about you from your sister Adaobi, though we have not met, but your memory will always be remembered. May your gentle soul rest in peace.

Ugo I am so sorry that we weren't there to help you but we tried our best. I am so sorry that things happened this way. I still cry everyday in my heart. I don't think that i will ever stop crying. I yawn for the day the we will see you again. I pray that God almighty grant you the gift to be one of his angel and to be able to visit us and assist us in our needs. Rest in peace my brother.

Sometimes it's difficult to put one's memories of another on paper, especially, when that other person is dear to you and has gone to the greater beyond; and also when you've known that other person all his or her life. The difficulty comes in the form of; where do I start from, which memories to write about, what emotions it would evoke in others; thus it becomes very confusing, albeit, saddening. For UGOH ( Wowo to me), the memory goes back to when he was born. He was big (really big), and was smiling only within a few weeks of his life here. He grew up quickly and was so full of life and energy, always making jokes out of everthing. I need not go into details or put everything down for fear of the emotions they would evoke both in me and his other loved ones. All I can say is that no one that met Ugo can rightly say that his or her life has not been touched positively by Ugo. And for that, I call Ugo an Angel we never got to appreciate until it was too late. UGOH, though you are no more, I will always remember you because you will always live in our hearts forever. I say to you, WOWO, go and rest in peace at the bossom of the Lord till we meet again to part no more. Adieu, Adieu and Adieu.
