I met Wendy when she was a DJ at the Hilton Hotel in the 80s. We stayed friends for many years. I really missed her when she decided that the friendship would end when I got married and had children. She said our paths were taking different directions. I was very upset and tried to understand her point of view. Wendy had been on my mind for the last two years. An opportunity came when I could track her down and that is when I found out that she had passed away. She was a good friend, always happy and gracious. A very classy lady. I am very sorry that I didn't have a chance to talk to her again.

I've known Wendy for over 20 years, since working together with her at Hyatt On Collins. She was a Manager & DJ and I was a 20 something impressionable youth. We hit it off straight away. She introduced me to the music Randy Crawford, and I still think if her when I listen to "Rainy Night In Georgia" one of her favourite Randy songs.
We stayed in touch after she moved to Sydney and it was a true pleasure to have known her. So many things I want to say, but the words just don't seem enough. I still can't believe she is gone. I'll be at the Funeral Service tomorrow in Sydney to pay my last respects.
I love you dearly Wendy. xxx

Wendy and I worked together at the Hyatt on Collins in the late eighties along with John Von Ahlen who very kindly emailed me a few days ago. I am living in Thailand and unfortunaely cannot make it to sydney tomorrow. But my heart will be there and the tears I shed will be little droplets of love. Wendy and I seperated and went different ways in the early ninties,,,,and then I continued on to America to live and now in Thailand but I also searched for her many times not knowing she had gone to Sydney. She was a very fun loving Jovial and kind person. Straight forward and honest. A good person who Im sure will be missed by many. I send my condolances to her Mother, sister and family and friends, May Wendy rest in peace. Jacqueline Ringersma

Wendy was my step sister, I only knew her for a short time and wish it had been longer. She was a very stylish and cool sister whom I shall miss greatly and treasure the memories of our time spent together.

14 years agoHi John, My name is Amanda. I used to work with Wendy at the Australian Stock Exchange. I was searching for her...finding out where she was in order to get in contact after the last couple of years and found this page. I'm shocked.....she was such a wonderful person....soul of the earth, fun and carefree. I can't believe she is gone. Can you tell me what happened? Regards, Amanda Guerrera
