I hope you crossed over safely. We all have to spiritually evolve, death is just the beginning not the end. Who ever took your life doesn't realise they broke part of themselves because all souls are but one, under an illusion of separateness. I wont say rip, but enjoy being free lucky. Advance high, you have fulfilled your destiny.

Lucky's legacy lives on ; everytime one of us who was blessed enough to know of his music, his work and his life . Lucky lives .He continues to live through us . I know he lives. I can still his lyrics : " Remember me ... shut up if you haven't anything nice to say... when you live in a glass house you must not throw stone ... One people , different colors ... Lucky lives . Lucky was Africa's Aristotle, plato and everything that's pure and sample about the African spirit . Lucky you were my hero . AS we all learned from the King himself , Rastas never dies . He shall live forever ...

Lucky was my inspiration and I get a high listening to his music. My dream came true when I saw his great performance in Blandenburg, Maryland, in August 2007. He completed his mission and have gone to join the great Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Al Toure, Dennis Brown, Culture and my dear father Joseph. See you at Zion Gate Lucky!

.....Its been over over 2 weeks, since our beloved brother's life was snuffed out. Lucky was just beautiful, so energic, full of life, being a messenger & always making Reggae strong. I will not bid farewll 2 Lucky, as he fed my heart & soul, as he did many others. I will always hold you Lucky close 2 my heart & soul 4-ever, as you sang "Rasta's Never Die"! I Love You

He was my favourite singer of all time at the moment I was just looking at songs from his respect album. Then I decided I would just go to his website, and found my favourite artist of all time, is dead. I never saw him in concert and very sadly will never see him. I always for some reason had a bad gut feeling something bad would happen to Lucky dube as the good great artists seem to die before their time. You will always be my number one singer, I am very sad. raspect Scott

´´Pesadelo, Lucky Dube foi baleado mortalmente onte em Johanesburg´´. That is how my friend Lucas sent me an SMS in portuguese in Maputo-Mozambique informing me that Dube was already in heaven! I told him that he couldn´t be jocking! After all, I told him that Lucky's is always alive. First because he is a Rastaman, and then because he is a prophet! We both concludede that ´´ WHEN JAH WILL COME DOWN NERVOUS AND ANGRY TO MAKE JUSTICE, WHOEVER SHOOT AT LUCKY DUBE WON'T ESCAPE FROM HIS VINGATIVE HANDS. THE VERY HOT SIDE OF HELL IS RESERVED TO HIM AND HIS GUN!May Lucky rest in Jah´s peace and may his kids be protected by Jah´s hand!

Lucky Dube, words are't capable of expressing my hurt and pain your traggic and senseless death has brought to my life and, I am sure to millions of other people, all over the world. Though, you are absent in body, your life, your music, and your memory will live on, from generation to generation! I love you, so much, Sir! God bless you! Sincerely, Monique Hendricks
