my first love of music, back in the 70s...eventually found a copy of wet dream in the 80s...continued listening in the 90s (but not as much as i did)...and am now listening more again. Echoes-genius, especially the old pompeii footage (don't watch the rubbish "updated with graphic" crap) stay cool & quiet richard- peace

Dear Richard, Your passing has left a void that cannot be filled. Your music and legend will live on, no doubt, but those of us too young to witness your soulful ballads in concert will have to wait to joun you in that "Great Gig in the Sky". Until then my friend may you rest in peace.

Richard, The music you helped produce with Pink Floyd will never fade away. Your talents helped me to becoma a keyboard player. After seeing interviews with you, I began a quest to learn more about music. As said already, many have tried but, no one can come close to the Unique Sounds "you" produced.

As long as people still listen to your wonderful, sensitive, awesome and superb compositions, you will not really have left us. The pain we feel for your loss is nothing compared to the greatfulness we feel for having known such a beautiful musician.

The departure of Rick Wright comes as a big surprise...But not his contribution to the universal music....I was listening Pink Floyd's performance at The Albert Hall when I learned Rick had died... his keyboard and his soulful voice wont sing again but in our memories and our hearts...we who have grown up and aged listening the unparalleled music of Pink Floyd know that a this is a great loss...good bye Rick..you already played for men...now play for the gods and the stars...

It's hard to imagine that now the reunion of Pink Floyd will never ever take place again. But my thoughts go also to the family, which I wish all the strength to deal with this great loss. To speak with a band from the netherlands: "Sometimes it is better to loose something that you love, better to loose then never have known it" (free to Rowwen Heze). I am glad that I have had the luck that I could and still can listen to the music of Pink Floyd with Rick! And he is only realy dead when his music isn't played anymore. And this will never happen, so even he is not among us anymore, Richard Wright will live on, FOREVER!!!!

Richard Wright was not another brick in the wall. He was a hammer that gave us strength and wisdom through lyric and melody to help us chip away at our own walls. No Thank-Yous can ever repay that. No psychologist could ever outwork a dark room with only the sounds of Pink Floyd. He was no Englishman, he was a Human. He was claimed by the whole world, And he made it better.
